Quartzsite 2026: Your Redlands RV Field Guide to the Biggest RV Gathering on Earth
If you’ve ever dreamed of a nine-day RV festival where new friends, smart upgrades, and endless desert sunsets collide, Quartzsite is your moment.
In January 2026, the tiny Arizona town of Quartzsite becomes the winter capital of RV life—tens of thousands of coaches, fifth wheels, vans, and bus conversions rolling in for the legendary Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show. The “Big Tent” opens January 17–25, 2026, 9am–5pm daily (9–3 on closing day) at 700 S. Central Blvd., Quartzsite, AZ.
At Redlands Truck & RV, we’ll be there through January 24th —wrenches, alignment lasers, and upgrade know-how in tow—helping you leave the desert riding smoother, tracking straighter, and ready for your next long haul.
Why Quartzsite Matters & Why 2026 is the Perfect Year to Go:
Quartzsite isn’t just a show; it’s a phenomenon. State officials estimate 750,000 to 1,000,000 people surge into the area each January for the gem shows, flea markets, and the RV Show’s Big Tent—billed as the Largest Gathering of RVers in the World. It’s free to attend, wildly social, and loaded with gear, seminars, and service options you won’t find concentrated anywhere else.
For owners, that scale means three big wins:
- Upgrades are done correctly, on site. There’s no better time to install ride-and-handling components you’ve been researching—KONI shocks, Safe T Plus, Roadmaster anti-sway, steering and bell cranks, and more—because the experts who do nothing but RVs all day are in one place. Redlands specializes in ride comfort improvements, alignment, tires, engine/coach diagnostics, and PM services, the stuff that actually changes how your coach feels mile after mile.
- Real-world education. The show stacks nine days of learning—from product demos to formal seminars—so you can compare solutions back-to-back and make confident choices. (Check the show’s 2026 seminar schedule as it’s posted.)
Keith from Redlands RV will be speaking about Koni Shocks and Safe T Plus products on Day 1.
- Community, at scale. Quartzsite is where tips, campground intel, solar specs, boondocking tricks, and travel stories flow as easily as coffee at sunrise. Go once and you’ll know why people plan their winter around it.

The Experience – What a “Quartzsite Day” Looks Like:
Morning: You’re parked on BLM land or at a nearby RV park. After coffee, head to the Big Tent when it opens at 9am. If you scheduled an install with Redlands, we’ll confirm your time and review your goals (e.g., “reduce push from passing trucks,” “less rut wander,” “smoother expansion joints,” “correct drift to the right”).
Mid-day: While we work, explore the show. Compare suspension products, browse solar and lithium systems, or catch a seminar. Grab lunch on the Midway and meet other owners with your same chassis.
Afternoon: Test-drive your upgraded coach around town roads and I-10. You’ll feel the difference: more directional stability, less driver fatigue, a calmer steering wheel in crosswinds, and fewer mid-corner corrections. In the evening, its camp chairs, firelight, and starry sky.
Planning your trip: Dates, Logistics, and Where to Go:
- Show dates & hours: Jan 17–25, 2026, 9:00am–5:00pm daily; 9:00am–3:00pm closing day. (Redlands RV Team will be there through the 24th)
- Address: 700 S. Central Blvd., Quartzsite, AZ 85346.
- Admission: Free.
- Crowds: It’s busy—in a good way. Bring patience for parking and a sense of adventure! (That’s part of the charm.)

Where to Stay:
Quartzsite’s boondocking is the stuff of legend. Many RVers choose nearby BLM areas (both free and LTVA paid areas), while others book private parks in town or along I-10. Expect heavy demand, reserve early where possible.
What to Pack:
- Tire gauge (for hot/cold comparisons) and your TPMS kit
- Maintenance documentation (VIN, chassis, current alignment specs if you have them)
- Sun gear: hat, sunscreen, water
- Photos of your undercarriage (if you’re pre-consulting on suspension)
How to Choose the Right Upgrade and Avoid Buyer’s Remorse
The desert can tempt you into shiny object buys. Use this simple framework to make smart choices:
- Define the problem specifically: “Coach wanders at 55+,” “gets pushed by semis,” “porpoising on bridge joints,” “steering feels vague.”
- Fix geometry first. Correct alignment (caster, camber, toe) and verify tire condition/pressures before layering on components. Misalignment magnifies every other issue.
- Add targeted control.
- KONI shocks: better control over bounce/roll without harshness, especially on rough highways.
- Safe T Plus: self-centering steering control that reduces wander and helps during blowouts or crosswinds.
- Sway bars / track bars / bell cranks: add stability and precision depending on your chassis.
- Schedule a road test. A 10–15 minute drive after installation tells you immediately whether the upgrade met your goal.
Redlands RV at Quartzsite: How to Book:
To ensure we can dedicate the right tech and parts to your coach, pre-book an appointment window for the show week.
https://www.redlandstruckservice.com/quartzsite-2026
We’ll confirm your coach details, desired upgrades, and day/time.
Pro move: If you’re debating between two upgrades, lock the appointment anyway. The show fills quickly, and you can finalize the exact parts after a quick on-site inspection.
FAQs for First Timers:
Is the show really that big?
Yes—and it’s wonderfully quirky. The town transforms for nine days, with vendors inside the Big Tent and a carnival of booths on the Midway and around town.
Do I need tickets?
No—admission is free. Parking and camping arrangements are separate.
Can you do full installs on the showgrounds?
Yes—within scope. Many customers book suspension, steering stabilizers, shocks, and related upgrades with us during the event week. For larger projects, we’ll stage parts and schedule follow-up at our Redlands facility.
What if I’m not sure what I need?
That’s the value of Quartzsite. Start with an alignment/inspection conversation. We’ll ride along if needed and design a phased plan that matches your budget and driving style.
A Smarter Route to a Calmer Coach
Every RV owner has a “that drive” story—wind howling across I-10, a truck blasting past, your hands clamped at 10 and 2. The right combination of alignment, shocks, and steering control turns that white-knuckle memory into just another mile marker.
It’s not about making your rig a sports car; it’s about predictability, how it tracks, how it recovers from gusts, how it returns to center. That’s where Redlands lives!
We’ve spent decades solving these problems! Our approach is plain: diagnose, choose the least-complicated solution that works, install cleanly, and verify on the road. The bonus of Quartzsite is efficiency—products, techs, and owners all in the same place, at the same time.
See You at Quartzsite!
